Parents and caregivers, welcome to the Wolf Pack! You're an invaluable part of the Loyola community, providing guidance and support to your students as they embark on their college journey.
To support the important work you do, we offer many opportunities for you to foster relationships with your new Loyola family starting this summer. Take a look at upcoming virtual panels, online resources, and more! We also have recordings of previous events linked below.
Wolf Pack Ready
We have a special opportunity for you and your student to start your LOYNO experience this summer. You’re invited to attend Wolf Pack Ready, an opportunity to schedule personalized 1:1 appointments with key campus offices to address any questions or outstanding items. At Wolf Pack Ready, students and families may choose to attend as many or as few appointments as they find helpful—allowing you to tailor the day to what matters most to you. Whether your student is finalizing their academic plans, exploring support services, or preparing for move-in, Wolf Pack Ready is designed to meet your student’s needs.
Choose one event date to attend:
- June 23 (Book your appointments here by June 16 to finalize your schedule for the day.)
- July 14 (Book your appointments here by July 7 to finalize your schedule for the day.)
Wolf Pack Welcome Parent Programming
Wolf Pack Welcome is our mandatory program to kick off the fall semester for all first-year students. We will also provide optional programming for parents and caregivers during Wolf Pack Welcome available on Thursday, August 14 and Friday, August 15. If you plan to attend the parent/caregiver track during Wolf Pack Welcome, please complete our guest registration form linked below. We will release the full schedule of parent events later this summer, but programming will include a variety of informational sessions to answer common questions about your student’s first year of college.
Register for Parent/Caregiver Programming at Wolf Pack Welcome
Please note: The registration form is for parents/caregivers only; you must add your student’s information to complete the parent/caregiver registration so that we can identify your relationship in our system. Since Wolf Pack Welcome is required for all new students, students do not have to complete a registration form.
Parent/Caregiver Online Orientation
New students are required to complete online orientation by August 14, 2025 to prepare for the start of the semester. We also encourage parents and caregivers to explore the optional parent/guest access on the orientation website. You’ll find a wealth of information about campus activities, academics, and support services for students.
Care for the Whole Student Panel Discussion
Students and their family members are invited to a panel discussion covering the support networks and free services available to students on Loyola’s campus. The panel will It will also discuss common scenarios students face in their first year on campus and how students can navigate these situations. There will be a chat function enabled, which will allow questions to be answered by a Loyola professional staff member. Recordings will also be available for those who are unable to attend live.

Meet the Dean Virtual Town Halls
Students and caregivers can join us for live Meet the Dean town hall events held via Zoom. Department leaders will share some of the unique benefits of the academic college associated with your child’s chosen major. These events are optional. There will be a live Q&A for students and families to ask questions about academics.

Federal Work Study Info Sessions
Join us for a virtual opportunity to learn all about the Federal Work-Study Program (FWS) at Loyola University! The Career Development Center and Office of Financial Aid are excited to host an informational session tailored specifically for incoming college students and their parents/caregivers. Discover everything you need to know about FWS, including its rules, regulations, and the plethora of opportunities and benefits available to eligible students. Students will gain invaluable insights into how to prepare for the academic year as a Federal Work-Study Employee.

How to Access Your Student’s Information
In keeping with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), a parent or guardian must be explicitly authorized by their student to receive access to information such as:
- Educational records
- Registration status
- Class schedule
- Room and board
- Financial aid
- Billing information
