Student Health Services

Welcome to Loyola University New Orleans Student Health Services (SHS), operating in partnership with Ochsner Health.

We provide primary and urgent care treatment and education about personal health issues for all Loyola students—residential and non-residential, full-time and part-time. Explore the full list of services we provide.

Walk-ins are welcome! No appointment required.

  • Summer Office Hours: Wednesdays only, 8:30 – 4:45 p.m. 
  • Fall/Spring Office Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:45 p.m. (Patient registration ends at 4 p.m.)

Access Your Billing and Lab Results with MyOchsner 

Loyola students can securely manage their health information using the MyOchsner patient portal, including access to medical records, lab results, estimates, and billing from one convenient spot. MyOchsner is available on desktop devices or via the mobile app.

Student Health Insurance

Student Health Services is an in-network provider on Loyola's student health insurance plan. If you have other health insurance, please check with your plan provider regarding coverage and fees. Eligible students are automatically enrolled in Loyola’s health plan.

Immunization

In keeping with Louisiana law, Loyola maintains immunization requirements for all students who will spend any amount of time on campus. Loyola has partnered with Med+Proctor to make the process of submitting your immunizations as easy and user-friendly as possible.
