Multicultural Student Affairs
Welcome to Multicultural Student Affairs at Loyola University New Orleans! At the heart of Loyola’s mission as a Jesuit institution is our commitment to being a place where all students, staff, faculty, and visitors of all identities and backgrounds feel welcomed and supported. We work to achieve this every day and across all areas of the institution because that is what it means to us to be “people with and for others.”
Multicultural Student Affairs leads and supports Loyola's university-wide effort to promote understanding of and appreciation for diversity, equity, and inclusion especially for our students. Special events, trainings, other educational programs, and advocacy resources foster a spirit of mutual recognition and support— a community where we all can thrive.

A Safe Place to Be Heard
Unfortunately, it sometimes happens that bias, harassment, and other violations of Loyola's community standards intrude upon our efforts to promote respect, kindness, and peace. Multicultural Student Affairs collaborates with other campus offices to provide community members affected by such behavior a safe, secure, and confidential avenue to be heard and supported.
